There are five tobacco regions in Cuba: Oriente, Remedios, Partidos, Semi Vuelta and Vuelta Abajo.

From all five of them, exclusively in Partidos and Vuelta Abajo (the Burgundy and the Bordeaux of Cuba, so to say) can tobacco of the finest quality that is used by all major brands be cultivated.

Only the region of Vuelta Abajo, with its unique climate and soil, can produce the leaves used in the elaboration of cigars.
